Jiaxuan Li
李嘉烜I am a Research Scientist at SB Intuitions Corp., working on Responsible AI research and development for foundation models.
My research aims to make AI systems safe, aligned, and reliable.
I received my Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology from the University of Tokyo in 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Hideki Nakayama. Before that, I earned my M.Eng. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2022, advised by Prof. Yuye Ling, and my B.Eng. from Shanghai University in 2019, advised by Prof. Zhi Liu.

- Our paper “SafeGrad: A Severity-Graded Benchmark for Safety Evaluation, Defense, and Attack of Text-to-Image Models” was accepted to WACV 2027.
- Our paper “The Guardrail Trinity: Procedural Safety Schemas, Reasoning Chain Decomposition, and Dual-Mode Inference for LLM Guardrails” was accepted to AACL 2026.
